This was our reading for the week.We have done half of it doing online learning.

Do you think video games are good for school?

Are video games good for learning at school?(Online Learning At Home)

 Every one has different opinions about video games but my opinion is that video games are good and bad.

Here are my reasons why.

1.I think some video games are bad because some include violence,killing,fighting and all that sort of bad stuff and people can start to do that in real life or anger issues that also make you do bad stuff. 

2.I think some video games are good for example  Matific is a good video because it teaches you lot's of types of maths.

Also Epic is a good video game because there are lots of types of books(comics,national graphics,nonfiction,fiction and more)

3.Here is another reason why.Some video games give exercise like just dance on Nintendo,playstation,Xbox one and more.

4.Some video games people are on there to much so they are addicted to that game witch could be bad for your brain and body because if you play/watch to much that it might damage your brain.

So there are some good and bad reasons about video games what do you think about video games but the real question is are they good for learning at school I think maybe.     

Making a kite STEAM

 

For STEAM rotation we were in whaea Sharlee's class and we had to make a kite my group was Me(Sofia),Holly and Livia we first thought to have paper on the back of our kite but that didn't work so instead we but kawakawa forest leaves instead.

This week for reading our topic was I have something to say!

My most favourite part was to make a poster about the issue I had.

For Cybersmart Today we had to try and make better comments then the comment above we(Sofia,Holly,Livia,Isabella) all picked a slide and wrote a better comment.After that I had to vote who's comment was the best and I said Isabella so this blog post here is Isabella's blog.

The price of food

 Dear Supermarkets 

Food is getting too expensive especially fruit and vegetables.The last time I was at the supermarket a pack tomatoes  was $7:99 and a cucumber was $5:99. Green cabbage is $4:49 each and for gold kiwifruit it's $6:99.

I think farmers want money for their fruit and vegetables but if it's too expensive nobody will buy it.

I think the price of a pack of tomatoes should be $3:00 because I personally think tomatoes are yum and you can use them in many different ways. I think they should be cheaper.

 Cucumber should at least be $3:00 because you can also use cucumber in many different ways too.

Green cabbage should $3:99 only. One dollar lower because cabbage is hard to grow but I still think it's yum.

Gold kiwifruit should be $3:00 per kg because I also personally think that kiwi fruit are yum.

So supermarkets please lower the prices of food because it will be a lot cheaper for us to buy

This week for writing we had to write about an issue.My issue was for prices are to high

Firstly,zoos can be all over the world but some countries don't have the money to look after the animals in the zoos.

Reasons and evidence

If zoos don't have the money to look after the animals they might not be able to live.

if zoos don't have money they can't feed the animals.

Secondly,some zoos have programs to to watch zookeepers work for example at auckland zoo there is a zoo care programs.

Some zoos you can watch the animals go to the vet.

Most zoos have programs for schools to come and visit.

Argument 3 

Finally,zoos can help endangered animals and keep them away from predators.

Reasons and evidence 

Elephants are endangered and elephants predators are lions,hyenas and crocodile.

Rhinos are kept in zoos because they are endangered and are one of the most needed help in the world.

So what do you think Should we not have zoos or should we have zoos?.

Alter the images

 

Today 24/6/2021 we did cybersmart.We had to alter the images,the main idea was to cover up the private information shown in the picture all of the pictures in the start they were already pictures on the slide but we had to cover up the private information and on the last slide I had to cover the private information of a picture of me.    

Bhangra facts

 

For term 2 our topic is dance and one of our dances are bhangra and we had to make a poster and put facts about bhangra.Did you know that bhangra is mostly danced in Punjabi.

A moment in netball

 The whistle goes we all run in,I do a half roll the girl who is partnering up with me falled for the trick,she goes the opposite way I do,now I can get a pass from the other players in my team.I got the ball and I need to get the ball down to the hoop,I pass the ball to my friend then she passed the ball to the other team mate but the other team got an intercept  now the ball is going to there hoop.I quickly do a roll to get a intercept.I got the ball I do a bounce pass to trick the other team,My friend got the ball she passed it to me again now I pass it to the team mate in the circle and she tries to shoot and we got it in!.Now it is back to center pass and it is there ball,My player thinks I am going to do a half roll but I trick her her that I am doing a half roll but I do a full roll but they still got the ball and it went straight down to there hoop and they got a goal then the alarm went off that was the end of the game ,now we got to shake hand and say good game even though 

they one it was a good game

in Sweden they're called in kanelbullar 

prounused:(ka-nel-bul-lar) but in English they are call cinnamon rolls.

2.meatballs with mash potatoes

meatballs with mashed potatoes as a normal food to have in the world,but we didn't make really good and it is really yum with mashed potatoes.

What bender am I ? 

I am a Air bender 

Air benders  are energetic,Open minded and spiritual.You are very peaceful and know that violence is never the answer.

Your practical and and your pacifist nature is what everyone admires.You can easily brighten up someones day by making wise decisions.

What can air benders do? 

Air benders are able to jump high and far by riding on strong gusts of wind and can also slow or deflect falls by creating cushions of air.The constant movement Required by the art makes air benders naturally flexible and agile,making masters difficult to hit.

What are Air benders weakness

Airbender principles regarding fatal moves: Though deemed the most dynamic of the bending arts, the most controversial aspect of airbending is its supposed lack of fatal moves, being a more defense-inclined art. Step-by-step how to skateboard for beginners

you will need

• skateboard(any type)
• helmet 
• flat surface/driveway
• pads(not required)

🛹Step 1 

setting up 

When you are setting up on your skateboard it means how you stand and how comfy you are.

When you are skateboarding you are either goofy or regular. Goofy footers skate when they're right foot  at the front of the board and push whit there left foot. "Riding regular" means you have you left foot at the back of board and push with your right foot.

🛹Step 2

standing up 

When standing  up goofy footers stand facing to the left and regulars stand facing towards the right 

  🛹Step 3

learning how to push

when pushing you always put your weight forwards,like I said before goofy footers have right foot on the front of the board and left foot pushing .Regulars have there left foot on the back of the board and right foot pushing.to start off you can just do 2 pushes.

Goofy or regular doesn't matter whatever you are , you have your foot on the board.So once you have figured out if you are goofy or regular you push down then go back onto the skateboard.

how to turn there is something called a tic tac but we won't  be learning how to do those.

So how you can turn is heels and toes it is pretty easy if you try.

so go push push heels and toes easy.

 Today I found a new animal and I will tell you  all about it.

1.What does it look like 

It has A white fur  and  A fuzzy tail ,It has a human nose and a pirate mouth.It has wings with a muscle body.

 2.where it lives 

This animal lives in A tree up in the branches the tree is called a oak tree .

3.What dose it eat 

It eats butterfly wings and worms 

 4.some features

 This animal is small and by its neck it has a green spot.It can also hear tiny sounds and they are very fast

5.what colors does it have ?

It has pink and purple on its wings and on it's tail it has a tiny bit of red.Its has pink on the inside of its ears and green on the neck.

this was my Cybersmart for the week

we had  to take a photo of our-self and we used a thing called colour pick eyedropper then we had to outline it and had to colour then  I decided to add a little background and then it was dine  

the thing that changed my life forever

  This was the time that I had butterfly stitches.So it all stared of I was yelling out to dad I could hear him but did not know where he was.At my house we have these stairs with a brick wall on the side(this is outside)And my feet were on the edge of the stairs I ended up losing balance and fell.I tumbled down the stairs and hit my left side of my head on the brick wall.It split my left side of my head,I was screaming in pain I walked inside and opened the door but as I walked inside I jammed my finger in the door which   made it heart even more more I ran inside crying mum and dad were sitting on the couch as soon as they saw me they took me to an ANE it was also a Dentist.When we got there Dad bought me a little pack of m and ms.The nurse called me when I went inside the room she took my temperature and my blood pressure  which were all OK. She said to mum I need butterfly stitches Then we went back out into the waiting room.Finally the person who was going to do my butterfly stitches came I had to be holed down by mum and dad.I was scramming in pain.Finally it was over I still had tears coming down my face .Later on (we are home now)I have my family over I haven't said this yet this happened on my 3rd birthday so carry on mum made me a cake with cream inside,at that age I did not like cream so it was on of the worst birthdays I have have ever had in my life so far.

The new planet

 "hurry up" I yelled at mum was talking to a lady that she works with for 20 minuets "we are going to be late for our rocket ship "I said "OK"mum finally said I was very happy but she just kept on talking "MUM WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE"I yelled I just can't take it anymore I walked up to Mum very angry pool mum's arm and walk away "OK bye"mum yelled to the lady she was talking too.We got to the entry of the rocket ship dad was there waiting for me and Mum we walked into the rocket I was so excited but Mum wasn't I said to mum "it will be OK mum"mum smiled at me,I smiled back "it would be cool if we found a new planet"Dad said "it would be cool"I said "maybe we will"Mum said as soon as mum finished talking the count down started 10,9,8"here we go"I said 7,6,5 "oh why did I do this"mum said 4,3,2,1 BLAST OF as quick as a wink we were out in space Me and dad got our space gear on Mum said we are crazy I just think mum overrated a bit.The door opened we jumped out of the rocket ship into space "look I yelled "what planet is that dad"i said to him "I do not know actually"Said Dad "lets go back and tell the others"I said we told mum "lets go back to earth"mum said and so we did Dad told the space company they were shocked and from then on it was a great discovery.

The history of the Jews during World War 2 is almost synonymous with the persecution and murder of Jews which was committed on an unprecedented scale in Europe and European North Africa.Jews or Jewish people are members of an ethnoreligious group and a nation originating from the Israelites and Hebrews of historical Israel and Judah.if you don’t know what Jewish people are they are people back in the day there were people called the Nazis and they tried to find all the Jewish people and put them in a a town that is a jail they would either make them do a bad job other wise they will get killed.
